Initial reports indicate there was no foul play, but the post-mortem examination of the MP will be performed at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC).

Aamir Liaquat Hussain was popular among the nation’s increasingly conservative urban housewives and his shows consistently topped advertising revenue rankings as a televangelist.

The anchor’s house staff repeatedly knocked on his room’s door without success, according to sources.

Aamir Liaquat began feeling ill last night and was complaining of chest pains, the staff reported. The former lawmaker was then taken to a hospital from his house in Khudadad Colony.

Separately, Aamir Liaquat’s driver told the cops he heard a “scream from his room a day earlier”.

After the post-mortem of the deceased is conducted at Jinnah Hospital or Civil Hospital, the body will be handed over to the immediate family.
