From the beginning of WoW, the WoW Level 1 Twink Guide was trying to defy conventional understanding. Many videos have been made of him over the years defeating higher-level characters in PvP, killing mobs within the level 50-80 range, and achieving some pretty cool feats.

What makes them so powerful? Nowadays it’s a little less complicated with the advent of Boa gear, but basically, it’s the magic and buffs they’re able to get.

What makes them so popular?

Doing all of the above is an absolute thrill. This is also something that can be made in the afternoon but can take a long time to get right.

First things first – Turn Off XP.

Obviously, one of the first real things you’ll need to do with your new level 1 twink in-game is to turn Off XP gains. So one can accomplish this, you need to go to Silhitz in Orgrimmar or Beheston in Stormwind and pay them 10g. They are stolen and can be hard to see.

Choosing your gear

Your happy gear is going to be BoA. For slots that do not have BoA, follow the instructions in the tabs below. There may be one exception which is circumstantial. The Sin’dorei Cloak of Warding can be found in salvage packing containers or on the AH. It has+1 ability on BoA robes, however, lacks any offensive skills.

Weapon Enchant

Elemental Force – Will deal the most damage to all formations except hunters. Different spells are the easiest depending on the situation.

Flintlock’s Woodchucker – Will deal maximum damage to Hunters. Various spells may also have topical uses.

Armor Enchants

Neck, Cloak, and Rings – Use the Wizards’ “present” WoD.

All the different slots – other than the “Gift” mentioned above and all of the Glove Reinforcement (+2 Stamina) spells are great for +1 stats. So your choice boils down to which stats you want to increase by +1. While there may be room for debate, this manual recommends the latter preference.

1) Haste – Speeds up attacks, spells forge, and regenerates resources. This is our quality offensive stat.

2) Stamina – Not a terrible aspect by any means, and you can never have too much of it.

Three) Criticism – When you feel comfortable with the above, it’s time to start stacking crates for increased weapon damage.

4) Versatility / Multistrike – These look sensational, but it’s hard to stack enough without giving up any of the above.

Also, it’s important to note that speed wizards no longer stack. So the fit you choose to enchant should no longer be one that increases movement speed. My recommendation would be to ensure all classes.
