Some people say that concept of sport is a physical activity governed by rules and played by individuals seeking to outclass challengers, while others have a basic understanding about sport as organized spontaneous exercises or games, or as a competitive or non-competitive procedure through which an individual obtains physical skills, mental relaxation and bodily fitness. Sport involves some type of moving the body through the environment and burning calories doing so. Sport gives people enjoyment, happiness, friendship, satisfaction, health, fitness, popularity, acknowledgement, the feeling of victory and success, but on the other hand, it may be boring, cause sadness, sorrow, disappointment, fatigue, exhaustion, injuries, illness, and in some cases even death. Sport exercises the body during the physical activity, improving the body part that is used in sport. The definition of Sport than would seem to need to include the idea that a physical activity is occurring. Sport also involves some type of competition. Sport deals with the struggle between individuals or teams. Sport has conflict in it that usually tends to end with winner(s) and loser(s). Sport is defined by conflict and by fostering competitive nature in individuals that results in the division of winner and loser after the game is played. Game is also a central idea to sport. While not all sports can be considered to be game (and not all games can be considered to be sport), game revels much about sport. Sport is confined by certain rules and regulations, such that there are activities that are encouraged and there are activities that are penalized if done during the activity. These rules are previously agreed to and usually have not been altered extensively in several years. Sport, as in games, also discourages cheating (viewing such behavior as cheating to run completely contrary to the reason for play the activity). When a person says that they are doing sport, it tends to imply that they have done an intense physical activity. Sport seems to include several things. Sport brings up the picture of sweat and physical exhaustion.
According to studies an activity can be considered a sport if it involves:
- A primary goal of victory.
- Have properly applied rules of play that allow a winner to be determined.
- A healthy competition between two or more individuals or teams.
- Winner determined by the relative physical ability of the competitors, although strategy and chance may also play a role.
The actual define word “sport” comes from an oldest English definition “anything human find amusing or entertaining” from 1300 by an old French disport which means “leisure”.
Other meanings of sports include gaming and events staged for the purpose of gambling; hunting; and games and diversions, including ones that require exercise. Roget’s defines the noun sport as an “activity engaged in for relaxation and amusement of people that improves physical and mental health” with synonyms including diversion and recreation.

Sports are of many types that we play on daily basis, some of the sports are played on national level or some are popular on international levels however some are the identities of different countries. The types of sports that we are going to discuss about can be defernite on the basis of the environment where these sports are supposed to be played such as:
