A 23-year-old Florida man’s vanishing started a cross country chase after the vanishing and passing of Gabby Petito

Brian Laundrie, whose vanishing ignited a cross country manhunt in September after his fiancee, Gabby Petito, disappeared and was subsequently observed killed, committed suicide, a post-mortem examination report delivered on Tuesday uncovered.

Laundrie’s remaining parts were found in a Florida nature save last month, one month after Petito, 22, was viewed as choked to death on the edge of Wyoming’s Grand Teton public park, where the couple had been voyaging together in a van.

North Port police examining Laundrie’s vanishing said the family wouldn’t talk with analysts, which Bertolino later said was on his recommendation. No one has been accused in the association with the case.

Laundry and Petito were youth darlings on Long Island in New York, then, at that point, moved to Florida in 2019 to live with Laundrie’s folks in North Port, around 34 miles south of Sarasota.
